形態特徵

Main stems erect, 5-10 cm tall, rarely to 15 cm, glabrous, rooting at base, bearing rhizophores, branched to base.
Leaves dimorphic, those of the lower plane unequal-sided, ovate, minutely ciliate, acute or obtuse at apex, distant, pointing outwards; those of the upper plane nearly equal-sided, smaller, ovate, ciliate, acuminate at apex, distant, pointing upwards; lateral branch leaves similar to stem leaves of lower plane, median leaves similar to stem leaves of upper plane; axillary leaves equal-sided, ovate, ciliate, acute at apex.
Strobili borne on ends of leafy branchlets, 3-10 mm long; sporophylls dimorphic, those of the lower plane nearly equal-sided, ovate, ciliate, cuspidate at apex, keeled, pointing upwards; those of the upper plane unequal-sided, oblong, minutely ciliate, acute at apex, pointing outwards; microsporophylls terminal, megasporophylls basal. Microspores orange, megaspores yellow.

台灣 : Growing on exposed hillsides or in partial shades of mountains throughout the Island.
世界 : China, India, Ceylon, the Ryukyus, Malaya and northerm Australia.
